as the "best pub with rooms in all the land"
"There's nothing better than being outdoors in the countryside when the sun is shining,
which was how it was when I took a mini-break to Somerset and North Devon.
We stayed at The Rockford Inn, the best pub in all the land.
From here there's a beautiful walk along the rushing river, through the woods
to Watersmeet, where you can see a perfect waterfall as you enjoy a perfect scone
and a perfect cuppa. All in all, an exceptional memory of a trip in England."

However, the crest of this coastal ridge of hills is more than 1.6 km from the sea. If a cliff is defined as having a slope greater than 60 degrees, the highest sea cliff on mainland Britain is Great Hangman near Combe Martin at 318 metres high, with a cliff face of 250 metres. Its sister cliff is the 250 metres Little Hangman, which marks the edge of Exmoor
